I think Ricki Lake is one of the top contenders in the Dancing with the Stars competition, and I thought it would be interesting to see if the cards would name her as the winner of the mirror-ball trophy.
I set my intention that the Lenormand Lady would represent Ricki Lake, and removed her card from the deck and set it down on the table. Then I shuffled the remaining cards and drew four additional cards randomly, and placed them according to the following template:
Here are the cards revealed:
I’m not sure these cards show whether Ricki Lake will win the Dancing with the Stars this season, but they seem to indicate that she will continue on in the competition.
- The Garden represents a network of people, and the Gentleman card represents an unidentified man who is connected to the situation. My guess is that the Gentleman represents Ricki’s professional dance partner Derek Hough. Ricki cannot win alone without his help.
- The Dog represents friendship and support, and with the Garden it shows that Ricki has a network of supportive people around her. This could also refer to the fans of the show who support her.
- The House represents stability and protection. The gentleman has a grounding influence on Ricki Lake. I figure it must be Derek. He’s solid and organized, and clearly a contender.
Looking at these cards, I don’t see a definite yes or no to the question of whether Ricki Lake will win the competition. The House suggests that she’ll be around for a while, and the Garden and Dog show that she is supported by the audience of the show. Ricki Lake will undoubtedly make it into the finale. Perhaps the winner is not yet determined by the fates, and therefore it’s not possible to predict the outcome of the competition at this time.
When it gets closer to the time of the finale I’ll try again and see what comes up in the cards.
Update for validation: I never did get a chance to draw more cards on the final winner, but Ricki Lake did make it to the finale as predicted by the Lenormand.
