I woke up feeling achy and congested, and I had a hard time dragging myself from bed. I’m not sure if I’m getting sick or if I’m having an bad allergy attack, but either way I decided to call out sick from work this morning.
Saturday’s daily cards may have predicted an illness, so it’s probably not a bad idea to draw a few cards for insight today. This time I did not set an intention on an indicator card. I simply asked the question “What is happening to me today?” and drew four cards randomly. I used my fancy new Lenormand Oracle Cards that I won in an ebay auction.
The Tree is about my health, so the cards seem spot on this morning. The Snake confirms a health problem or illness. I saw the Heart and though “uh-oh, heart problems!” But the Heart is a great card, and it’s probably showing improvements. The Park is about people, and social gatherings, and the outdoors. I think the cards are telling me that I’ll begin to feel better once I’m out and about in the world.
Intuitively I feel like the Heart is telling me that there is nothing seriously wrong with me. All of the other cards contain greenery: especially the Park which looks like a pollen nightmare. Now I’m convinced that I woke up with a nasty case of hay fever, which I’m prone to this time of year.
Unfortunately, I’m out of Zyrtec. I’d best drag myself into the shower, and then head out to the drugstore to pick up some more.
As predicted I felt much better once I was out and about, and got some allergy medicine. It was a relaxing, uneventful day. The weather was beautiful, and I took advantage of the day off from work by spending some time out of doors (Park).
