Deal or Draw?

Lenormand Student asks:

I’m enjoying your readings. What process do you use to draw the cards. Do you deal from the top of the deck, or do you draw random cards?

In fact, I do neither.  My process is simple.

  1. First I decide on a card to represent my question or situation.  I call this the ‘key card.’

  2. Next I set my intention that the key card will represent the person or thing I’m asking about.
  3. Then I shuffle the deck while concentrating on my question until I feel ready.
  4. Next I spread the cards out face up on the table, and locate my key card.
  5. Finally, I read the two or three cards that appear before and after my key card.

It’s that simple, and it works like a charm!

thank you very much again,it´s easier that way

excellent explanation, so I can start practicing, congratulation on your blog, greetings, your friend, Claudia.

  3. It is a personalized way to deal with the ‘no layout’ system; other readers came up with other variations. The point is the accuracy of the reading of course. The manual I wrote introduced the concept of charging a keycard and the process of the ‘no layout’ to allow anyone to do their own readings using the Lenormand oracle but also to increase that level of accuracy so desired by paying clients. It is rewarding to see readers doing well on that system and to come to their own with the Lenormand oracle. Best continuation!
