For my daily card draw this morning I pulled The Snake and The Anchor. The Snake points to deceptions, manipulation, and betrayal. The Anchor is the antithesis of The Snake in the sense that it represents courage, stability, reliability and trust. I think my trust or my stability will be tested today in some way.
I am experiencing some trust issues with a family member that are still unresolved, so perhaps today’s combination refers to ‘settling’ that situation.
I’m glad that The Anchor falls after The Snake because it suggests to me that I’ll be able to hold my ground regardless of whatever problems The Snake may bring. The other thing that occurs to me about this combination is that these cards could refer to some ‘long-term’ problems that I’m going to have to face today. I intend to remain steadfast, and deal with whatever comes my way.
